Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

By accessing and using devtoolbench.dev, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the site.

1. Acceptance of terms

Use of devtoolbench.dev and its tools (breach checker, bulk speed test, and fake data generator) constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions in full. These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.

2. Description of service

DevToolbench provides free, ad-supported online tools for developers:

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

3. No account, no stored data

DevToolbench has no user accounts, no login system, and no database. We do not collect, store, or process personal information for account purposes. Each tool's data handling is described in the privacy policy.

4. Use of the tools

You agree to use the tools responsibly:

5. Accuracy of results

Results from the breach checker reflect only the data indexed by HaveIBeenPwned and XposedOrNot at the time of the query. A "not found" result does not guarantee that your credentials have never been compromised. Speed test results reflect a snapshot of Google's PageSpeed audit and may vary between runs. Generated fake data is randomized and may occasionally produce values that resemble real information — treat it as synthetic test data, not real data.

6. Third-party APIs and services

The tools rely on third-party services and APIs (HaveIBeenPwned, XposedOrNot, Google PageSpeed Insights). DevToolbench does not control the availability, accuracy, or terms of these third-party services. If a third-party API changes, becomes unavailable, or imposes new restrictions, the corresponding tool may be affected without notice.

7. Intellectual property

The DevToolbench name, logo, site design, and original code are the intellectual property of the project authors. The underlying open-source libraries (Astro, @faker-js/faker) are subject to their respective licenses.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DevToolbench and its authors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, revenue, or profits.

9. Advertisements

The site displays advertisements to cover hosting costs. Ad content is served by third-party ad networks and is subject to those networks' own terms and privacy policies. DevToolbench does not endorse or control the content of third-party advertisements.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
